Who are you?

Hi, my name is Carly Clydesdale, and I am a social media addict.

I'm a 22 year old Canadian and lover of all things sartorial, glittery, fluffy and musical. I work a full time 8-5 job and spend a little bit too much of my downtime on Netflix. Sushi is one of my main food groups, as is sweet & salty popcorn. Puppies have my heart, although musical theatre is a tough competitor. Caffeine flows through my veins...you know it's real when the Starbucks baristas know your name. 

I'm just starting real life on my own, and it is equal parts terrifying and thrilling.

Why start a blog?

Reading blogs has taken up a biiiit too much of my time in the past few years. The ratio of people I follow on instagram that are bloggers vs. people I actually know is embarrassing. I just love reading, learning, and discussing things like fashion and lifestyle. As I said, musical theatre has always been my passion...a passion that isn't totally realistic to pursue as a real hobby. Too many freakishly talented girls out there. Anyways, when I realized I could start a blog...it suddenly became a passion that was tangible for me. Outside of school and now work, it has truly been a pleasure and an escape to write my blog. I am still learning and growing...but even when I look back at my first few posts, I cringe a little bit. I am improving and changing every day, and that in itself is a reason to blog.
