Happy Wednesday!

After the Monday-est Tuesday there ever was, I’m feeling more like a human today. I have such a love-hate relationship with long weekends! I spent my extra day cleaning our condo from top to bottom. I’m exhausted, but our place looks incredible! Self high five.

It’s freaking me out that it’s already Back to School season…where has summer gone?? Even though my work life is entering fall, my personal life is still very much in summer. August is far from over, let’s make the most of it!

Oh hey August, didn’t see ya there.

It’s FINALLY starting to feel like summer, thank god. On our last drive up to the cottage, I was saying to Stefan that it didn’t feel right to be driving up north; it hadn’t felt like summer yet! After two weekends in a row of straight up excess, I’m happy to be back to my usual routine. By no means am I a health nut…I’m actually pretty bad at maintaining a healthy lifestyle (microwave popcorn will forever be my weakness). But I do have some minor yet annoying health issues – asthma and allergies at the forefront. Lately I’ve been making small efforts to improve my routine and see how it affects my overall health, and these are the 4 things that have stuck. I asked, and she said yes! …x5!

Aside from marrying Stefan (obv) the thing I was most excited for about getting engaged was asking my bridesmaids! Friends are SO important to me, and I couldn’t wait to ask my chicks if they would stand beside me on my wedding day.

I personally have amazing girlfriends from camp, from community theater, and from a bunch of different friend groups at school. Choosing only five girls felt like a parent picking their favourite children. #drama.… View Post
